Holistic Counselling

SlRl provides holistic counselling for people with mental health needs, their families and carers. SIRI’s HOLISTIC COUNSELLING is a comprehensive, integrated and focused multistage therapy program tha tmobilizesclients’ adaptational resources through environmental interventions, structured goal-setting exercises and skills-building experiences. It clarifies and re-establishes positive relationships among family members friends neighbours and their environment. Through therapeutic intervention and casework management SIRI’s Counsellors make a positive and significant contribution to the manner in which their clients are able to manage the challenges facing them as a result of their health needs. All beneficiaries of SIRI’s counseling service undertake a needs assessment from which an action plan is devise and implemented.


One to One Counselling

This service offers client 6 initial sessions with suitably qualified and accredited Counsellor/Therapist. This is therapy beyond therapy. Through therapeutic intervention, the individual’s problems are isolated and dealt with simultaneously. It is not limited by time of session and duration. The client dictates the session whilst the counselor blends it with rofessional touch. Upon review counseling sessions are continued and/or appropriate referral would be agreed whilstcontinuously monitored by SIRI.


Family/ Carers Counselling

SIRI believes that the family systems have such an obvious impact on the client’s development and that the individual cannot really be separated from the family, or the sick from the well, or the cause of a dysfunction from its effect. Through family counseling SIRI focuses on improving the family communication patterns to enhance the self-esteem and
growth of each member.


Group / Peer Counselling

This group is user-led but facilitated by a Counsellor.Group/Peer counseling is encouraged amongst clients who have similar problems.The goal of these sessions is the mutual empowerment of members.
