The establishment of SIRI Behavioural Health (formerly AKPESIRI for Mental Health Users) is about a VISION.  It is widely recognised that the second largest  non-white  group in London is Black African closely followed by Black Caribbean.  Yet the history of misunderstanding and discrim-ination continue to disproportionately affect the appropriate mental health and criminal justice services they receive.

SIRI Provides a range of services for service users who are suffering from psychosocial and emotional difficulties (mental health problems) and are currently slipping through the statutory sector provision net. The service provides a range of integrated and focused community-based services addressing the needs of the service users, their families and carers.

The elements of the SIRI Quality Assurance provides direction and support for the organisation's commitment to design, measure, assess and improve its performance in concert with the SIRI's mission of excellence in care. We incorporate BASIS-32 and PERCEPTION OF CARE assessment methods into our services. WE also adhere to Investors in People, Community Legal Services, OISC, Advice UK and Respect standards in all our casework management.
